  1. To the Citizens of Dover,

Dover has an election coming up; I am writing this letter to show people why they shouldn't vote for Tom Lembcke for Town Chairman. In 2001, my husband and I were granted a permit from the Town of Dover chairman, Tom Lembcke. The permit was to extend our driveway. We paid $1200 for a road bond, $1150 for a surveyor, and $330 for a permit to build the driveway extension. Lembcke claimed that the Town paid $1650 to a consulting firm, Applied Technology to look at our driveway. When we asked why a consultant had to "Consult" on the job, Lembcke replied, "Well, well, well, what do I know; I'm just a dumb farmer." Supervisor Dean Larson said, "The only thing I know is how to pour beer." Supervisor Nue said," You won't get a building permit unless you pay this."
The bills for $1200 and $330 were mailed to us and we paid them. We continued to protest the bill for $1600, and the Town Board said they would pay for half of it. When we later asked for copies of the receipts for the three bills we were informed that the records had been destroyed. We consulted Attn. Michael Piontek, who is now a judge. He said we were being extorted by mail with the bills that the Dover Town Board had mailed to us. We don't know what "service" they extended to us in this whole process, and paid the bill because we were informed that it would be added to our property bill if we didn't pay it.
`To add insult to injury, the Town punished us by informing its employees not to plow up to our house in the winter. When the road got repaved, they paved just short of our property. When we questioned the employees about the snow plowing they stated that they couldn't plow to our house because it was on unpaved road. Those who complain to the Town Chairman Lembcke can be sure that what they will get is his vengeance.
Please don't vote for such a man.
